Taiwan Travel Photos – Taipei Zoo, Maokong Gondola Cable Car, Taipei Main Station, Ximending Youth Shopping District

It was raining again when we went to the Taipei Zoo and rode the Maokong Cable Car. It was scary but exciting to ride the cable car while it was raining. When we reached the top, we just ate at the convenience store and headed back down. Because it was raining all you can see are clouds and rain. Off to the zoo! This place is also huge and it was raining so we had an umbrella on one hand and the camera on the other. The highlight of the…

Taiwan Travel Photos – Qingjing Farm

Time to ascend to an altitude of 1,750 meters above sea level and meet some sheep. We were traveling for about 3 hours going to Qingjing Farm and about 4 hours going home. It was exhausting but worth it. You can hug, pet and feed the sheep. They are just there grazing around all over the place. This is a good place to take the kids to. Make sure to buy some souvenirs and sheep’s milk biscuits before you head home, they are delicious. Check out my post on Taiwan…

Taiwan Travel Photos – Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Longshan Temple, Daan Forest Park, National Taiwan University

We went to Chiang Kai-shek twice, in the morning and at night but it was raining a bit so we just took a few pictures and went somewhere else. Daan Forest park is the Taiwan version of New York’s Central Park and London’s Hyde Park. It spans 26 hectares and is home to a variety of animals like squirrels, ducks, turtles and butterflies. They just roam around the park freely. National Taiwan University is the location of the popular Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. Who would ever forget Dao Ming Si…

The Philpost Experience of 2016 Makati Edition – Philippine Postal Service

The Philpost Experience of 2016 Makati Edition – Philippine Postal Service I ordered a bunch of Korean skin care products from eBay and Testerkorea.com and had it delivered straight to the Philippines instead of the US through freight forwarders. This is an experiment to see how much I will be taxed and how long the delivery and the entire process would take. I decided to buy only small items priced less than US$25. I ordered 2 separate items, one from Testerkorea.com and the other from an eBay seller. I ordered…
