7 Swimsuit Cover-up Ideas To Try On This Summer

Sharing is caring!

Being fashionable and looking good on the beach need not be so hard. Wearing a swimsuit may be plain enough so here are some cover up ideas to spruce your beach outfits to the next level.

1) A denim mini skirt

Try a denim mini skirt for a change instead of shorts. Check out some denim skirts that you can try out below from Bench.

2) A Robe Coat

This may not be as popular in the Philippines because of our tropical weather but if you’ve got one from your travels abroad you may use it as a cover up. This will not only make your beach attire fashionable but it can also protect you from the sun. Leave it open over your swimsuit while strolling the beach. (Photos from aliexpress.com)

3) Culottes

Whether you’re wearing a two piece or one piece swim wear, you can add culottes for a look that works both on and off the beach. (Photos from aliexpress.com)

4) Jumper Shorts

If you’re not the mini skirt kind of person, why not try jumper shorts instead over your swim wear.

5) Kimono

Add prints and patterns to your otherwise plain and boring swim wear by wearing a kimono on top. Stroll the beach and make a fashion statement. Check out the photo below from Zalora Philippines.

6) White Button Down Long Sleeves

This is probably the easiest one to find as most of us have it in our closets. Try a white button down long sleeves on top of your swim wear. Roll up the sleeves and tie up the ends together to get that sexy look on the beach. (Photo from aliexpress.com)

7) Jumpsuit

If you’re a bit conservative, try wearing a jumpsuit over your swim wear for the comfortable lounge by the beach or beside the pool. This can also add color and pattern to your beach ootd. (Photos from aliexpress.com)

There you have it! Try out one or a couple of these cover ups the next time you hit up the beach for a fashionable summer escapade.
